INSTRUCTIONAL EDITING

Instructional Editing is for authors who require extensive assistance with developing and writing a manuscript. Proofreading is usually selected by native English-speaking scientists to check galley proofs. Your manuscript is reviewed for minor mechanical errors in copy (such as misspelled words and typographic errors), appropriate capitalization and punctuation, consistent use of abbreviations, and correct documentation of references.

RE-EDITING

Re-Editing is for manuscripts previously edited by SciTechEdit International using either Comprehensive or Essential science editing service. Examples of manuscripts that qualify for this service include: A) manuscripts that have been revised in response to reviewer comments,  and B) manuscripts that have been revised for submission to a different journal. Manuscripts that have been extensively revised may not qualify for the re-editing service.

PLAGIARISM CHECK

Plagiarism Check evaluates manuscripts to determine if any of the text has been previously published using industry-standard services such as iThenticate, WriteCheck, Plagiarism Checker, SPlat, Plagiarism Detect, etc.  Using one of these services, we will review your document and create a report indicating which portions of text require further revision and appropriate citation.  Re-writing services are available to help clients revise self-plagiarized material.

TRANSLATION

SciTechEdit International provides Scientific Translation Services for manuscripts. Our translators are highly qualified scientific, technical, or medical translators. Your manuscript may be translated and edited or, if you prefer, translated only. Our translators are native English-speaking, and are fluent in the source language with extensive experience translating scientific, technical, or medical texts into English.

Our translation process starts with an expert translator experienced in translating science documents into English.  When combined Translation/Comprehensive Science Editing services are ordered, a science editor will then review the translated document to ensure that the originally intended meaning and quality are preserved.
